Hawa
mahal :-
Popularly known, as the, palace
of winds, this mahal of flawless architecture, is like a
Pandora's box of wonders & magic..One can say that this
is the most beautifully designed monument& one of the
most easily recalled landmarks in Jaipur. The enchanting
Hawa Mahal, is a multi-layered palace, with a profusion of
windows having delicate, stone-carved jali screens. The Top
of the palace affords a beautiful view of the city. A small
archaeological museum is yet another attaraction, of the
palace.
Amer Palace :-
This magnificent fort, with
its huge ramparts & watchtowers, overlooking the Delhi-Jaipur
Highway, was built by Raja Man Singh. It is believed, to have
been, the capital of the "Minas", the original
inhabitants of Rajasthan. Set in picturesque and rugged
hills, it offers us with a, fascinating blend, of Hindu and
Mughal, architecture. This beautiful palace has many major
attractions like, Sheela Devi Temple, Sheesh Mahal ( Hall
of mirrors), Jai Garh Fort. Amber palace is a classic and romantic
fort- palace with a magnificent aura& a worth watching
place.
The
City Palace :-
This palace holds, a great
legacy, of some of the most imposing and magnificent architecture,
art and craft structure in the city. The palace is a great
blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture . The main monumental
enterance called, Nakkarkhana-ka-Darwaza, is the imposing
gateway of the City Palace, guarded by the beautifully created
stone elephants.
Jantar
Mantar :-
One of the five observatories
in India, Jantat Mantar, was built by Sawai Jai Singh, in 18th
century. Famous for its, architectural & astronomical
instruments, this three-storey-high observatory, is one of
the, main landmarks of Jaipur.
Jal
Mahal :-
This is Jaipur's lake palace,
surrounded with water from all the sides. This lake has crystal
clean water, that shines & shimmers in the pure sunlight.
Jaigarh
:-
Jai Garh Fort or the Victory Fort, overlooks the
palace & city of Amber below, as it is, built on a high peak.
The series of water reservoirs, built to, store and supply,
clean water to Jaipur City, are a main attraction inside
the fort complex.
Nahargarh
Fort :–
Initially, called sudrashan
Garh, this palace, provides a splendid view of Jaipur city.
Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh:–
Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh-This is a heaven for nature & art
lovers, as, one can admire the beautiful range of gardens,
foutains, pools and excellent pieces of sculptures, here.
